Does it decide who sits where for me?
It seats everyone; you decide the exceptions. Fill puts each unseated guest in the next empty chair in the order you pasted, so a household pasted together lands at the same table. Shuffle deals the whole room at random. What it cannot know is who must not sit next to whom — that stays a click, and every automatic pass is one undo step.
Can I change the chart afterwards?
Yes, at any point. Every table, seat, and name stays editable, moves are undoable, and the plan saves itself in your browser as you go.
Do I need an account?
No. The chart is built in your browser and autosaves there, so you can close the tab and come back without signing up for anything.
How many guests can it handle?
Comfortably into the hundreds. A large banquet works the same way as a small wedding — add tables, paste names, adjust.
